Join us for our 2025 Conference: Reconnect: Building Bridges

  • Hear from Anna-Marie Janzen of Reclaim Mending presenting Threads of Change: Sustainable Development and the Impact of Overconsumption in the Garment Industry

  • Participate in either:

    • a tour of the National Indigenous Residential School Museum of Canada (learn more at nirsmuseum.ca) OR

    • Alternate: for those who are seeking a different way to engage in discussion of Indigenous Residential Schools and present day Calls to Action (this will take place at the conference venue)

  • Find out the winner of the 2025 MAHE Distinguished Home Economist Award

  • Help a child be ready for Manitoba's winter by bringing a donation of a new or gently used coat, hat or mitts for the United Way Koats for Kids drive

  • Learn about the Canadian Home Economics Foundation/CHEF activities in 2024-25 and their plans for the upcoming year at their AGM

  • Registration includes parking, tour fees, light lunch and breaks
